In this workshop you will learn how to make books.
We will make a few different models of books and journals from cut, folded and glued papers. You will then select one or two of the designs and construct them on a larger scale to make an album. Your album could contain photos, postcards, writings, found objects, embroidery samples, or swatches of your favorite fabrics. These items will be collaged into place in an artistic way and embellished creatively to suit your own style. The workshop offers endless possibilities and ideas that you can develop for your own projects.
