Acting for Fun - find your own clown

Transform the fear of falling into the pleasure of playing and discover your clown.
The goal of this workshop is to communicate with your whole body. This is the clown world. When body language is clear, words are unnecessary. How much do you know about your body language? In this workshop, you can explore new possibilities of communication and give space to overcome fears and language barriers by letting the body speak.

Through a series of exercises on attention, listening, rhythm and relationship, the participants will learn to let go, say yes and accept weaknesses in an atmosphere without judgments, where they will learn to play with themselves and with others. The workshop will end with a part made up of small improvisations that are necessary to implement what has been learned.

“Clowns win in the end because they ridicule social pressures and show us that happiness is possible without necessarily conforming to the norms of beauty, of self-control and of logical intelligence extolled by the white clown. In destroying the myth of superficial appearances and giving us the right to be ourselves, the clown makes us (and the person playing him or her) feel better about ourselves.”("ART ET THERAPIE"by Bertil Sylvander).

Recipients: This workshop is open to anyone who is interested in exploring and discovering what makes us laugh and anyone who is curious about investigating this world.

You don't have to be funny to join this workshop, just bring your own fun! Requirements for participants: Wearing comfortable clothing.
