Acting for Fun 2 - Theatre production

Come and be part of an ensemble and work with your creativity, while diving into the world of theatre!

In this course, the student will get acquainted with dramaturgy study, character composition, interpretation of texts, construction of scenes, rehearsals, costumes, scenario, make-up, soundtrack, and lighting, ending the workshop with the presentation of a show. We will dive into the universe of renowned authors, exploring the humanistic, emotional, and poetic layers contained in the texts, which make them timeless and universal.

Acting for Fun II is aimed at people who already have a basic contact with theatre and would like to experiment the process of setting up and presenting a theatre play.

Stage 1: Creating the ensemble
Theatrical games, body expression, voice techniques, improvisation, and dramatized readings.

Stage 2: Diving into dramaturgy
Scene and character studies, work on text and collective creation.

Stage 3: Rehearsals and performance

Final presentation.

Theatre is the art of communication. A set of techniques that anyone can learn, as long as they dedicate themselves and study. Anyone who takes a course in the area uses psychophysical actions to represent characters and thus dramaturgically narrate a story and its entire set of ideas.

"Theatre is the biggest lie told with the biggest truth" - Amir Haddad
